Found iron form suspended from soft deer leather.
The original object remains visually intact, retaining its aged surface, irregularity, and traces of use.
Iron / soft deer leather
House of Dust & Form jewelry begins with existing forms.
Old iron objects are sourced for their weight, surface, proportion, and ambiguity, then altered only as much as necessary to become wearable. The original object remains visible in the finished piece rather than being disguised by conventional jewelry construction.
Some forms exist only once. Others may return later in small forged runs, developed from earlier found pieces rather than designed independently from them.
